I remember when I lived in Pecos Texas, a couple of my friends and I would meet for lunch at one of the best Mexican food restaurants in that part of the country. The first one there would order the pitcher of Spanish sangria and we would enjoy the best 2-3 hour luncheon party ever. I do miss those times and think of them every time I make this light fruity beverage.
It’s hard for me to only make one glass of real sangria, I mean who only drinks one glass? Not anyone in my house. So we use a clear glass sangria pitcher and serve in either wine glasses or margarita glasses.
What’s in a Spanish Sangria Recipe:
This Spanish Sangria glass is perfect for a summer evening on the porch or even a winter day in front of the fire. It pairs well with Mexican food or even a nicely grilled steak. So grab your pitcher, slice up some citrus and mix this beverage up today and you will not be disappointed, we pinky promise.

I lived in a pueblo about 60 Kms South of Valencia, where they say Sangria was " invented " there they used cheapest Red wine available ( why waste good stuff) and any bits of spirits went in ,for " taste" mix, and enjoy, also Oranges, and lemons, ( they grow in abundance) in the region, no other fruit, its too precious, mix with lots of ice in a glass enjoy, Mike
