This baked Dutch pancake recipe only uses two apples and a great way to use up any leftover apples. It’s served hot and bubbly and if topped with ice cream it could make an amazing Fall dessert.
Bake Apple Dutch Pancake Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 large apples, peeled and thinly sliced
- 6 eggs
- 1 and 1/2 cups of milk
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 8 tablespoons butter (1 stick)
- 2-3 tablespoons brown sugar
How to Make a Baked Apple Pancake
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees
- In a blender or large bowl, mix eggs, milk, flour, sugar, vanilla, salt and cinnamon until blended
- Melt butter in a fluted porcelain quiche dish or 13 X9 inch baking dish in oven.
- Add apple slices to baking dish, return to oven until butter sizzles. Do not let brown.
- Remove dish from oven and immediately pour batter over apples
- Sprinkle with brown sugar and bake in oven for 20 minutes or until puffed and brown
- Serve immediately
Serve this dutch pancake recipe topped with whipped topping or syrup.

This was delicious!!!!!! I used 3 apples instead of 2 and for the milk I did 3/4 cup low fat milk and 3/4 cup heavy cream. This will be a go to for large family gatherings. I am ready to have leftovers tonight and put ice cream on top. Yummy!
