- 1 pound butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 1 pound chopped pecans
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Powdered Sugar Icing Recipe Ingredients
- 1 and 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 6 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
How to make this butter pecan bundt cake:

Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Then start your cake by creaming together butter and sugar using a hand mixer. And add in the beaten eggs and continue to whip well.
Slowly add in flour, while mixing with and then add baking powder and salt. Next, add in nuts and vanilla, and mix with a hand mixer until well combined.
Pour the butter pecan cake batter into a greased bundt pan and place in the preheated oven.
Bake at 250 degrees for 2 hours or until baked through and remove from the oven and place on a cooling rack
Turn out the hot cake onto a serving place. Make your powdered sugar icing recipe by mixing together powdered sugar, cream, and vanilla in a medium bowl.
Pour glaze over the warm cake and serve and enjoy it! This cake would be delish served at Thanksgiving dessert or a Christmas Bundt Cake.
