Roasted carrots can be out of this world delish but how can you get that great flavor in an instant pot? One thing about cooking carrots in instant pot that no one talks about is adding the flavor. I mean we all know it’s quick and everything turns out so tender but in my book adding the right flavors is the key.

What is in these garlic butter dill carrots:
- 4 large carrots; peeled and quartered
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
- 2 sprigs of dill
- 2 tablespoons garlic; minced (may adjust to how much garlic you like)
- 1 cup water

How to make garlic butter carrots in Instant Pot:
Place your steamer basket into your instant pot and pour in one cup water. Place your peeled and quartered carrots into the steamer basket.
Put the lid on your instant pot and place valve to sealed position. Press the pressure cook button and set timer to 6 minutes. But if you’d like them very tender go with 8 minutes.
Once the pot stops counting release the pressure and place the cooked carrots into a bowl. Remove the steamer basket and drain water. Turn the instant pot to sauté mode and add the butter, garlic, and dill.
Place the cooked carrots back into the pot. Sauté for about two minutes and turn off the pot.
Serve your garlic butter dill carrots topped with more fresh dill. Enjoy!
