Make everyone an individual charcuterie cup for your next party. These “jarcuteries”are like a personal charcuterie board in a mason jar. Y0u could make them either savory with meats and cheeses or you could make these individual charcuterie jars in a sweet version.
Charcuterie boards have been all the rage for the last few years and we do love them. And today we are taking that popular trend and making personal charcuterie cups. So instead of a large board of your favorite antipasto treats, you could serve individual charcuterie cups or jars. These “Jarcuteries” contain typical antipasto ingredients or you could create a sweet version with cookie sticks, fruit and chocolate.

Even though we use the small (4 ounce) mason jars for these appetizers, they are loaded with goodies. And they are the perfect accompaniment to any cocktail or wine party. These jarcuteries are like little personal charcuterie boards. So very cute! Trust me you and your friends and family will love them. And they are not hard or expensive to assemble.

How to make individual charcuterie cups:
Start your charcuterie cups by adding about 3 tablespoons of mixed nuts to the bottom of a 4 ounce mason jar. You could use only peanuts, walnuts or pecans if desired. These nuts will create a base to stabilize the filled skewers or picks.
Gather together your choice of meats and cheeses or other jarcuterie ingredients of your choice. And grab several skewers or food picks. Cut the cheeses and summer sausage into chunks. And cut anything else into bite size pieces.
Thread a combination of the jarcuterie ingredients on a pick. The pepperoni and salami can be folded into fourths or halves.
Continue to make several jarcuterie skewers using different combinations. You will need at about 3 skewers for every individual charcuterie cup.
Place 2 or 3 antipasto skewers in one of the nut filled mason jars and add mini bread sticks. Then fill with additional nuts to stabilize the skewers.
Make fruit and cheese skewers for the sweet version of these individual charcuterie cups.
Create sweet or dessert individual charcuterie cups using cheeses, fruit, cookie sticks and dark chocolate squares. Place the cheese or fruit skewers/food picks in the mason jar. Then fill with additional fruit such as blueberries and top with a piece of dark chocolate.
Serve these personal charcuteries or “jarcuteries” with wine or cocktails. Or make for a special brunch with mimosas or bloody Marys.
