Jute Wrapped Jug

This Tuscan decor Jute Wrapped Wine Jug just took about an hour to make and cost almost pennies to make.
I love Tuscan decor and this little wine jug fits perfectly with that love.
Ingredients needed:
1 cool wine jug
(I bought some inexpensive burgundy wine in this jug)
1 roll of jute twine
hot glue gun
scissors
Wash the wine jug and remove any labels. Dry completely
To Start, begin at the bottom and apply a small amount of glue. Press the start of the jute twine to the glue and let dry.
Keep going around, gluing every few inches until you get back to the starting point.   Continue to wrap the bottle with the jute, gluing as needed. (I glued every round at least 3 times with a tiny dot of glue).

Wrap up to the neck of the jut and place a dot of glue at the end of the jute, tuck the end under the last round.

I am now looking around to see what else I can wrap.

I'm wondering what this darling jute wrapped jug would look like with lights inside? Do you think they would shine thru?

Very nice. Jute and burlap are really popular now. I'm thinking about wrapping either jute or rope around a old lamp - instead of buying a new one, to give my tired living room a new lift. Thanks for sharing.
