How to make these Personalized Monogram Ornaments
Remove the top from your glass ornament and add a generous amount of white paint inside. But the more you add the easier it is to get coverage but the longer it takes to drip out.
Swirl the paint around until the inside is completely covered. Then place your ornament upside down in a paper cup or on top of the paint bottle to allow excess to drip, I leave mine for at least 30 minutes.
While your ornaments are drying, tie bows with the 2” buffalo plaid ribbon. Make one bow for each ornament.
Place the top onto each ornament and thread one of these Christmas ornament hangers into the top of each.
Wipe off the outside of the ornament with rubbing alcohol to remove oil and fingerprints, this step helps the adhesive hold better. Apply your stickers to spell out your chosen names, words, or phrases such as this dad ornament. Be sure that the stickers you choose have a good adhesive backing. If you are worried that it is not enough you can use modge podge under and over them to help stay in place.
These personalized family Christmas ornaments will make great gifts for friends and family. And they are also simple enough to make with the kids or grandkids. Also you could change them to cheery Christmas saying.
