Gather your supplies and measure out 1 tablespoon of popcorn.

pouring kernels into funnel

Remove metal caps from the glass ornament balls.  Place funnel into opening and pour in the popcorn kernels.

placing Popcorn glass ornament in paper bag

Carefully slide the clear ornament into a brown paper lunch bag, make sure the opening is on top.

Do not skip this step: if the glass ball breaks then the bag will contain it.  I have never had one break but the possibility is there.

Fold the ends of the bag together and place in microwave.  Microwave on high for about 1 minute.  Listen to when you hear the popcorn popping slow down and turn off the microwave.
