Supplies needed;
1 size 2 (C) crochet hook
1 white 1 inch pony tail holder
white yarn
blue yarn
red star buttons
Round one: With white yarn, work 30 single crochet stitches around the white pony tail holder, join with a sl st in the first sc, chain 2
Round two: double crochet 30 stitches, chain 2
Round Three: double crochet in the next stitch, dc2tog. Now continue this same pattern until the end of the round (you should have decreased to 11 stitches).
Round Four, Double crochet 11 stitches
Continue repeating Round Four until bodice measures 2 1/2 inches. Change to blue yarn.
Round one with blue yarn: Triple crochet two times in next stitch, chain one, continue with this pattern until the end of the round
Round two with blue yarn: Triple crochet and continue with this pattern the next few rounds until the skirt measures 2 1/2 inches, tie off.
Sew the red star buttons on the bodice.
Now Barbie is ready for all those Fourth of July poolside BBQ’s!
