This is an over the top cup of marshmallow-topped drizzled with chocolate and caramel hot chocolate that is amazingly simple.  Everything goes into the slow cooker or crockpot about 2-3 hours ahead of time and is ready when guests arrive or when you wish to treat yourself and your family.

 

Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup caramel sauce
  • 4 cups milk
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon coarse sea salt

Topping Ingredients:

  • Salted caramel Syrup
  • Chocolate Sauce
  • Miniature Marshmallows

 

Equipment: 

  • Slow Cooker
  • Cups

 

How to make Crockpot Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate:

Add chocolate chips, milk, and heavy cream in the bottom of your crockpot.

Then add the gourmet caramel sauce  and cook on low for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally.  Once the chocolate is melted and the ingredients are combined and warmed through, stir in vanilla and sea salt.
