  • 16 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup sour cream divided
  • 1 1.5 ounce packet ranch seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 3 green onions finely chopped
  • 6 strips bacon finely chopped or ⅔ cup real bacon bits

Instructions

  • Stir together the cream cheese, ¼ cup sour cream (save the other ¼ cup for making the laces), and ranch seasoning until well combined. Fold in the shredded cheese, green onions, and half the bacon bits.
  • Form the cheeseball mixture into a football shape and wrap it tightly with plastic wrap. Place it in your refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours
  • Unwrap the cheeseball and place on parchment paper on a cutting board. Coat with all the bacon bits until fully covered using your hands to press the bacon bits into the cheese.
  • Transfer the remaining ¼ cup cream cheese to a piping bag. Cut the tip off the bag and pipe the laces on top of the football before serving.
  • Serve with a variety of crackers or chips!
