For the Chilies
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 egg whites whipped
- vegetable oil
- 10-12 Roasted Green Chiles peeled with stems still attached
For the Dipping Sauce
- 1/4 cup teriyaki
- 2 Tablespoons honey
- 2 green onions sliced
For the Chilies
Combine the flour, salt, and baking soda in a large bowl
Add the water and mix well
Carefully fold in the whipped egg whites
Heat oil in a large skillet or deep fryer over medium high heat
Dip each green chile into the batter
Fry each chile until golden brown, turning occasionally
Serve with the dipping sauce
