- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 36 Chocolate Kisses unwrapped
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a large mixing bowl, add the sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, butter, and egg and beat until well blended.
Add flour, baking soda, and baking powder and mix until well blended.
Scoop dough with a cookie scoop and roll it into 1-inch balls,
Place on ungreased baking sheets about 2 inches apart and bake 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are light golden brown.
Remove from oven and immediately press one chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.
Place cookies on cookie cooling racks and let cool completely before serving
